Eden Gardens is seeking an Activities Helper. As an Activities Helper, you would assist with setting up, running and tidying up after activities and help to ensure every resident has the opportunity to participate and enjoy themselves. Duties would include: assisting staff with preparing activity spaces and materials, help to transport or accompany residents to and from programs, participation in activities, providing one-on-one support to residents, and help with clean up and organizing after activities. Friendly, patient, enthusiastic and reliable volunteers are required who are comfortable interacting with people of varying abilities. Experience with older adults or dementia care is an asset (training is provided). Activities run seven days a week at 10:30 and 1:30; you can pick the day that works best for your schedule.
