As an Adopt-a-Plant volunteer, you would care for assigned plants within the Solarium, ensuring that they remain healthy. Duties would include the following: water and care for assigned plants according to their specific needs, monitor plant health and report concerns, light pruning, trimming and clean of leaves, and engaging residents who show interest in plants. A love for plants and an interest in plant care is needed (experience is helpful, but training is provided). A reliable and consistent volunteer is required with the ability to bend, reach and fill small watering containers.  A Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by the agency.
