CVIMS is seeking community-minded volunteers to join the Board of Directors. As a Board member, you would help guide our strategic direction, strengthen governance and champion a community where everyone belongs and newcomers can thrive. As a Board member, you would contribute you would help guide strategic direction, strengthen governance, and champion a community where everyone belongs and newcomers can thrive. You would provide financial oversight and ensure resources are managed responsibly. You would participate in at least one Board committee, work collaboratively with fellow Board members and the Executive Director to advance CVIMS’s mission and strategic goals, act as an ambassador for CVIMS within the community. The term is 3 years, approximately 4 – 6 hours per month.
Volunteers from all backgrounds are welcomed, especially those with experience in finance, HR, law, governance education or community service.
