Are you passionate about family history and local heritage? The Nanaimo Family History Society is seeking new board members to lead programs, strengthen community connections and help promote membership in their Society. They are looking for motivated volunteers who work well in a team setting. The ability to work with, or learn to use, audio/video equipment would be an asset.  Volunteers are required to become a member of the Society, to be involved in committee work, attend monthly board meetings and monthly general meetings.  An average time commitment is approximately 10 hours a month, but can vary depending on the position filled.
