The 20^th Anniversary Gala event in April 2026 will celebrate 20 years as Central Vancouver Island’s 2SLGBTQIA+ choir. The Coordinator will lead the planning and execution of this event, coordinate event logistics, manage the event budgets and timelines, collaborate with volunteer coordinators to develop volunteer roles and task schedule. You would also be collaborating with Promotions and Marketing and with Revenue Generation committees. A volunteer for this position needs strong organizational and project management skills.  Leadership experience in event planning or non-profit organizations, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, understanding of 2SLGBTQIA+ issues and terminology and a commitment to AVIVA’s Mission and Values is also important.
