ElderDog provides free services to seniors who need help looking after their dogs so they can remain a family. They have three DCS Coordinators and are seeking a fourth to join the team. You would be responsible for responding to inquiries for assistance, conducting intake visits, taking an assessment walk with the dogs, scheduling, providing support and advice to volunteers, record keeping, teleconferences with other Dog Care Support Coordinators across Canada. Excellent organization and communication skills are required, as well as strong computer skills, specifically with Gmail, Google Docs and Google Sheets. You will require a computer, printer, and scanner, as well as a cell phone or digital camera. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and provide a favourable Police Information Check.
