Seedy Sunday 2026 teaks place March 1 from 10AM to 3PM at Nanaimo District Senior Secondary School, located at 35 Wakesiah Ave. Nanaimo. This is a one-day community event that provides a lace to buy/exchange locally-grown, climate-adapted seeds and plants. There are also workshops and children’s activities.  Foodshare is searching for volunteers to help at either a morning or an afternoon shift at Seedy Sunday.  Possible jobs include helping with set up and take-down, front of house greeting, directions, helping vendors, selling raffle tickets, or assisting at workshops.  Volunteers for Seedy Sunday should be punctual and have good people and organizational skills.
