The Canadian Red Cross is looking for volunteers to act as Client Services Volunteers.  Volunteers for this position would be greeting clients in person or over the phone, gathering healthcare equipment for loans, entering information in the database and printing out loan records.  They would also be accepting monetary donations. Volunteers must be ready to be appreciated and thanked by clients who benefit from the equipment! Skills needed for this volunteer position, must have basic computer skills for entering data, have the ability to speak, listen and read English in person and on the phone and have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Due to the training needed for this position, a 6-month commitment is required. An RCMP Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by the agency.
