Volunteer Nanaimo offers memberships to not for profit organizations for an annual fee of only $60.00. If you are signing up as a new member, your first year is free. Individual membership is $10.00 annually.
How to Join
- Print and fill out the membership form
- If you have difficulty accessing the form, please call 250-758-7121 and we will mail it to you.
- Email, mail or bring the form to our office
- Email the form to vn3148@gmail.com or fax it to 250-758-7601
- Payment may be made by etransfer to vnanaimo@gmail.com or in person at our office.
- We look forward to getting to know you and working together in the community during the coming year!

Promoting Organizations
Promote your non profit organization, your activities and your needs in our monthly newsletter, on our bulletin boards, and on our website and on our Facebook page.
Recruiting Volunteers
Recruit volunteers for your organization via mass media networks. We maintain a current special events contact list and email your needs to this list of potential volunteers each Thursday. This list also goes to newspapers, radio, educational institutions, employment agencies, etc.
RCMP Record Checks
RCMP record checks for your volunteers will be a reduced price with our letter.
Monthly Newsletter
Volunteer Appreciation
Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon for your volunteers where their contribution to your organization and to the community is recognized.
Volunteer Fair
Volunteer Fair where we invite you to present and promote your organization each year.
Workshop Presentations
We offer workshops designed for both volunteers and non-profit organizations, and we’re always open to suggestions for new topics.
